Head Office building for MPSTDC was therefore envisaged to portray a corporate image of the office. Attempts have been made to achieve articulately carved out, well planned, well lit congenial spaces while developing the concept. The building is now physically present to feel the spaces in reality. The exterior portrays composition as well as defined masses with clarity in combination of solids and voids.

MADHYA PRADESH ECO- TOURISM DEVELOPMENT BOARD (MPEDB)



Madhya Pradesh Eco-tourism Development Board, (MPEDB), an autonomous organisation in the Forest Department, Government of MP, aims to promote and organise development of eco-tourism as a mainstream programme of the forest department in the state.



MP Eco-tourism Development Board invites application from Lodge / Resort owners / Tour & Travel Operators for the affiliation {franchise} of their organizations with MPEDB. MPEDB plans 50 new Eco-tourism projects.

BANDHAVGARH FORT


Bandhavgarh Fort is one of the oldest forts in Madhya Pradesh India. Considered to be more than 2500 years. One-hour trek up to the fort is worth the effort. The charm of this trek lies in discovering these monuments in the jungle, unspoiled and unexplored. There are about 32 hills and hillocks of Vindhyachal ranges in Bandhavgarh. Among them highest one is about 811mtr high. At this safe height, on a plateau of 4 sq. km. you find the fort, made in 10th century, on the top, called Bandhavgarh.



















Bandhavgarh fort is 164 kms away from Jabalpur and you can easily take the local bus to reach the national park. Katni is the nearest station at a distance of 120 kms and this railway junction connects every corner of the country with the national park.











PREAMPURA (SAIR SAPATA)- NEW PICNIC SPOT

Sair-Sapata has been developed by Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation to extend tourist facilities in the State and city of lakes. The ‘Sair-Sapata’ entertainment zone has been developed at a cost of `10.37 crore at Sewaniya Gaur, Bhopal with a view to expand tourist facilities in Bhopal.  Bhopal’s name will emerge on word tourism map due to this project. People of all age groups can enjoy at the same place in ‘Sair-Sapata’.
Sair-Sapata tourism complex is spread over an area of 24.56 acres. Cable suspension bridge connecting Prempura and Sewania is its main attraction. It is the first pedestrian bridge of the country, which has been build by using RCC deck slabs. It is 183.20 meters long and 3.6 meter wide. 


Sair-Sapata, which is gift to Bhopal’s residents, has a suspension bridge on Prempura Ghat, musical fountain, children’s toy train, glass viewpoint, food zone, restaurant and bar, boat club & children’s play area, natural trail and pathway, lighting, landscaping, ticket plaza, entry gate and neon signage etc.
The toy train for children will run on a .75 kilometer track. Entire family can board it. Four food kiosks have also been erected. Small pedal boats have been introduced near the banks of the lake. Children’s play space has been developed in about two acres of land. Three viewpoints and one glass house have also been built. Entertainment is available for people of all age groups.

MAHADEV PANI, BHOPAL


Mahadev Paani (Lord Shiva's waters) is a small and unexplored tourist spot on the near Raisen road (NH86) about 15-20 kms form main city, near a small village named Sehatganj. It has a small dam, its reservoir, small waterfalls amid extensive rocky surface.

RADIO TAXI @ BHOPAL


In order to promote tourism in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh Tourism considers it necessary to start radio taxi service in the city. For this purpose, it wishes to engage an agency for operating radio taxies on the stipulated terms and conditions. A taxi or cab is a type of transportation by car for single passengers or small groups that will fit in a car. Radio Taxis are started on 31 March 2010 at Bhopal. Taxis have a driver who gets you to the location of your choice. There are special pick up and drop off locations for cabs, especially at airports, train stations, or places of public interest. Many cities have cabs with common characteristics such as color or make of car so that the taxi can be recognized by passengers.


HOW TO REACH BHOPAL ?


Bhopal is situated on northern part of India. With beautiful lakes all over, Bhopal occupies an important place in the itinerary of a tourist who is on his tour of central India. The travelers are often faced with the question as how to reach Bhopal when they want to explore this exquisite town. The transportation access to Bhopal is quite easy and can be reached by air, rail and road transport as well. 

The three modes of transport can be discussed hereunder as:

  • By Air-
The airport in Bhopal is located at a distance of 12 kilometers from the Old City named as Raja Bhoj Airport and the Indian Airlines operates daily flights to the major metropolises of India such as Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Indore, etc. and also operates four weekly flights to Gwalior. 

  • By Rail-
Bhopal lies on the Delhi-Chennai route and is one of the most important railway stations of central India. Among the express trains, Shatabdi express connects Bhopal with the capital city, Delhi. The various other destinations to which Bhopal is well connected are Maharashtra, Gujarat, U.P., Bihar, West Bengal, Assam, Rajesthan and many more parts of India.

  • By Road-
The transportation access in Bhopal is also quite convenient by the road transport since it is well-linked with the various other destinations of India through the smooth and excellent roadways. Some of the destinations that are easily reachable from Bhopal by road transport are Delhi, Sanchi, Indore, Ujjain, Panchmari and Jabalpur, and Khajuraho are easily accessible from Bhopal.  With such fine transportation network, getting to Bhopal would be quite convenient and comfortable for the discerning travelers.
